The Pug

The Pug is one of the oldest breeds of dogs and has flourished since before 400 BC. Their fine, glossy coats can be fawn, apricot and black. These dogs are very sociable, playful, charming and are known to succeed in dog obedience skills.

They are very sensitive to the human voice so harsh punishment is not necessary. They usually get along well with other dogs and pets. They require a great deal attention and love to be with their owner.

These dogs may become slightly anxious or agitated if their owner ignores them or does not play with them. They are wonderful pets with even-tempers, playful personalities, and their outgoing, loving dispositions.

Weight: 14-18 Pounds
Life Expectancy: 12-15 Years
Grooming: Brush with firm bristle brush and bathe when necessary.
Children: Excellent with children
