The Airedale

King of the Terriers

The Airedale Terrier is the largest and strongest of all terrier breeds, and an all around useful dog. They are a medium sized, dog with a hard, wiry coat.This breed has a sweet disposition, but when challenged, is not afraid to stand up for himself. They are happiest with their family and enjoy lots of exercise. Keep them busy as they tend to get bored easily.

This terrier is friendly but stand offish to strangers. He is sensitive, intelligent and has a friendly pleasant tempermant. He is loyal to his loyal and protective. This breed may tend to dominate other dogs in the house but overall gets along with other cats and dogs.

Life Expectancy: approx: 10-12 Years
Grooming: Regular daily brushing is best and keep an eye out for food residue in their beard.
